In Harmony Farm believes strongly in engaging youth by providing them meaningful, hands-on exposure to regenerative agriculture, land conservation, and social justice work. Youth volunteer opportunities on the farm will someday include managing perennial crops (fruit trees, Christmas trees), tending to annual crops such as pumpkin and winter squash, and offering seasonal assistance to our tenant farmers. Much of this work will allow young leaders to share their time and talent, learn about other cultures and farming traditions, and better understand the needs of local food pantry networks.
